Tonight was a joyous event where we hosted the Most Worshipful Grand Master Franklin Chandler and his cabinet for their visitation to the First Masonic District. Many topics were discussed and the Craft was indeed enlightened by the words of the Grand Master. Again, it was a good night of fellowship and brotherly love. I look forward to the mid-year session.

This weekend was a great on indeed. After the Brothers participated in the Adopt A Highway we then tackled Breast Cancer. We held a BBQ at the historical Monday Club in New Castle and raised just under $1000 to battle this horrendous disease that effects millions of women and their families world wide. Our EAs put together an event that brought in scores of men, women, and children that were eager to participate in the fight against breast cancer. Thank you all for your great effort and on behalf of WM Terrance Bowman and the Brothers of Union Lodge 21 we commend you all on a job well done!!

What a day, what a day!! The Raising was a fantastic event! There were brothers from all over the East Coast Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, as well as the brothers from down state in the 2nd and 3rd districts of DE were all represented here on Saturday, April 9th.
Sitting in the Senior Deacon seat really gave me a first hand view of how hard these brothers worked on honing what they had learned and applying to todays real world. It was indeed an honor and a pleasure seeing them do their work! What a day! Great job Blackjack 21 and welcome to the newest members of Union Lodge 21!!

What a great day of FELLOWship it was! I was honored to be present for the Passing of the '10-'11 Class named BLACKJACK 21! The men were all worthy and well qualified. It was truly an awesome event. Thank you to the hosting Lodge, Star in the East #1, of the MWPHGLDE here in Wilmington, DE. Thank you to the over 40 Master Masons in attendance and a special thank you to the CLASS OF 2009, PLUMBLINE for their work on that glorious day.

How sweet and pleasant it is to give this report. On November 2, 2010 the 21 EAs that we have here in the First Masonic District had their proficiency day! The certainly proved that they should be considered for Passing. And with over 30 Master Masons from the district there supporting them it was definitely a great showing. Special thanks to Class Master Tobias Booker, PM for all of the Light he has brought to the class. We look forward to seeing more Brothers out for the Passing set for November 13, 2010 at 10 AM at the Grand East, 623 Heald Street, Wilmington, DE.
Again, GREAT JOB to the EAs and continue to LOOK TO THE EAST!!8)
